Seminole Service Day
Uplift Charter School
2806 Canada Drive • Dallas
“For generations, the ideals of our great alumni have been guided by a sense of service,” says FSU Alumni Association President and CEO Scott Atwell. “Seminole Service Day personifies that tradition and it is extraordinarily gratifying to know the work we are doing in our community is being replicated — at that very moment — from coast to coast.”
Get ready for our Sixth Annual Seminole Service Day!
This year, we will be donating our time to helping Uplift Charter School, which serves students in lower income neighborhoods with free, college-preparatory education. We will be helping with cleaning the grounds area, organizing the library and other various projects to help the school out. There are currently FSU alumni working at this school, so we hope you will come out and help them in their pursuit to educate our youth!
All ages are welcome, and if you have a school-aged child who needs volunteer hours, this is a great opportunity for them to help out in the community and get their hours log signed. Be sure and wear comfortable clothes and your best Seminole gear!
After our morning of hard work.
We will be heading over to Serious Pizza (2807 Elm Street) for some fun and relaxation. Serious Pizza is Seminole-owned, so be sure to join us for some seriously good food! See you there!

About the Seminole Club® of North Texas
The Seminole Club® of North Texas (SCNT) is organized to promote the welfare, development and advancement of Florida State University and its educational, scientific and programmatic purposes in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metropolitan area. Seminole Clubs® are organized groups of people throughout the nation who support and are dedicated to the Florida State University athletic and academic missions.
